Joyful Jarvis's Story...
Hi! my name is Joyful Jarvis and I am looking for a loving, forever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. My foster family in New York City absolutely loves and adores me. The say I am a very sweet, loving dog who loves to give kisses. I am about 3 years old and 23 lbs. I am great with other dogs, love all people and walk well on a leash. I am neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated and microchipped. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joyful Jarvis, a West Simsbury Shih Tzu/Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Wheaten Terrier for sale in West Simsbury, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in West Simsbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Simsbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Simsbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Simsbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
