Michelangelo's Story...
Michelangelo is at the Adopt-A-Pet Shop in Plymouth, MN- stop by and say hello!

DOB: ~8/1/14
Breed/Coloring: DSH/ Gray Tabby

Michelangelo is a silly boy with lots of spunk. He loves to play with just about anything, but wand toys are his favorite. He is sweet and purrs quite a bit when pet. He is an active boy, but has a cuddly side as well. He likes to hang out with his siblings, but people are good too, and he will cuddle up when he is ready for a nap. He is a little on the reserved side and he would prefer a home without dogs or small children.

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Michelangelo's adoption fee is $160 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please email SavedByAWhiskerRescue@gmail.com and we will send you an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Michelangelo, a Plymouth Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plymouth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Plymouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plymouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plymouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plymouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
