My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet one of our newest additions, beautiful 6 year old Laddie. We think he is a Sheltie/Shepherd mix possibly with even some Border Collie. He is a gentle medium sized sweetheart, weighing in at around 45 lbs. He is on the thinner side right now, but could benefit from gaining a few more pounds. Shy and very timid at first, once he gets to know you he loosens up and gets friendly, and will even give you kisses. Being shy and wary of their surroundings is common behavior of the Sheltie breed, but they are easy to train, very loyal to their families and very gentle.

He is settling life in his new foster home, and slowly starting to come out of his shell. He seems to bond quickly, and has become his foster family's shadow, making sure he is always close by, as he truly enjoys being around his people. This sweet boy definitely loves giving and receiving affection, especially doggy kisses. A little shy at first meeting, Laddie gets along nicely with the other dogs, and would do well with another doggy pal to play with or even as your one and only.

Laddie is housebroken, up to date on his shots and neutered. We feel a quiet, low key home would be best for him, as he nervous and wary about his surroundings. He is such a sweet boy, who just needs a loving family like yours to help him come out of his shell and feel comfortable. He likes to go for walks, and would be great as a walking or hiking partner. This adorable boy definitely deserves love, and we know he will truly blossom and be as devoted to you as you are to him. Come meet Laddie today!
