Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Donations can be made through our website at www.cthaa.org. Izzy will be available for adoption after her spay and recovery from her leg amputation surgery. All donations are tax deductible.
Izzy is a 7-month-old female Siberian Husky puppy that was hit by a car. Her owners were going to have her euthanized but the vet asked if she could be turned over to rescue. She had surgery to repair her broken leg but the surgery did not hold because her bone was too shattered so the decision was made to amputate her rear leg. As you can imagine, the medical costs are high and rising. Our bill is several thousand dollars. Our other option was to euthanize Izzy and that is NOT an option for this sweet, active little girl.
If you are interested in adopting, please send us an e-mail requesting an Application Form. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a minimum 5' high fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.
