Sylvette's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sylvette's Story...
Her rescue mom came to Central Florida as a refugee of Hurricane Ike, from Caicos Island. The hurricane destroyed most of the small, 7 mile island with 200 mile an hour winds. In the aftermath, Sylvette's rescue mom was forced to leave, along with her 50+ rescue animals... on a flight bound for Florida.

Sylvette was one of a litter of seven puppies with no mother around. Another dog
at the shelter nursed the litter of puppies as well as her own litter.
A little shy, scared of thunder, but very friendly, well mannered, and loving !

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvette, a Ocala German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Ocala, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Ocala.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ocala already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ocala breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ocala paves the way for another one to be saved.
