They are a bonded pair of gorgeous gals that are looking for that special forever home and family. When these two ladies were rescued, they were in rough shape. They were severely underweight, and Pixie actually spent the first 5 days of her new found freedom at the Vet’s office fighting for her life. She weighed a mere 25 pounds and was unable to keep any food or water down. She was cared for and loved by the staff and pulled through to be reunited with Trixie. They were overjoyed to be together again, and it was then we knew they could not be separated.
Pixie and Trixie get along well with other dogs and cats. They both adore children and are good with kids of all ages.
Pixie is 3 and Trixie is a 1 ½. We are working on their manners and basic commands. They had no prior training but are doing very well. They do forget their manners at times and will cover you in kisses or jump on you to show how happy they are to see you. They are kennel trained, but do prefer to stay in the same kennel.
These gals are full of love and want nothing more than to cuddle with you on the couch after a day of bone chewing and fetch. If you are looking for two best friends that will give you kisses when you give them water and make you laugh with their goofy personalities, then Pixie and Trixie are the ones for you.
