Adventures of Fynn (K9 Karma rescue). Fynn came to my house a week and a half ago. He would run to the farthest part of the yard to be away from me. He would run when I tried to pet him. This fearfulness is what got him failed at KHS. In a week in a half he has learned to go
Up and down a flight of stairs to get to his
Kennel in the basement and he gets in without cueing. He is potty trained when he is in the house but loves being outdoors during the day. He really lights up when the dogs are outside with him and he play bounces by them to try and play with them. He is fine with cats. He is still hyper vigilant with noises and movement but he will lay his head back down when he knows there is no threat. He was lifted up onto the bed in this picture so I could lay and pet him and he totally relaxed. He will nuzzle my hand to be petted more. He is learning children aren't so scary either. He has even let my husband pet him without running. I can even coax him out slowly from under the porch in order to get his collar to put the leash on. Once he has a leash on, he will walk along side you. He does great on a leash. He still has a ways to go and still runs as his first thought but with the right family he will continue to flourish. Oh and he is a guard dog. He barks outside when he hears things (we live in the country)
