Hi there! My name is Sammy. I'm about 1-2 years old and I weigh around 65 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the East Liverpool area and was brought to the pound.
As I'm sure you can see, I am quite dapper. I'm in great shape and I have adorable makings.
It is the pound's understanding that whoever owned me no longer wanted me, so rather than rehoming me themselves, they just opened their door and put me out on the streets, where I have been fending for myself for months now.
Obviously some of the people in the neighborhood had been feeding me, but I was hungry for love too, which dogs living on the street have a very difficult time finding.
Now I am here at the pound looking for a family to love that will actually love me and care for me too!
I'm a super duper good boy here at the pound.
I walk very well on a leash and I have good manners too.
I am always happy to see people and I wag and wiggle all over when I get excited!
I get along well with all of the other dogs here at the pound. The workers here would suggest I do not go to a home with a dominant male dog, but I am great otherwise.
I keep my kennel clean at night and I don't have accidents or mark in the office, so chances are that I'm likely already housebroken, though the pound v an never be positive.
