Lassie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lassie's Story...
Lassie would be the perfect addition to any family. She is an incredibly sweet German Shepherd mix, approximately 11 months old and weighing a bit over 46 pounds. She is just a love and will play with all dogs, regardless of size, and enjoys being around people, regardless of age. And, she doesn’t bark except when she’s involved in play. Lassie has been spayed, dewormed and is up to date on her vaccinations. Lassie was rescued by our sister organization in Mexico and is now receiving free transition boarding by Pet Pampering an alternative boarding and daycare on the Saanich Peninsula. Where social dogs have too much fun! Ready to adopt Lassie? Contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lassie, a Victoria German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Victoria, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Victoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Victoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Victoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Victoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
