Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Affectionately called “Chubbs”, this full-figured sweetheart stole many hearts as she waited patiently at the shelter for a rescue or adopter. At six years old and heartworm positive, her chances were very slim. We met her while picking up some other dogs. Volunteers and shelter workers approached us that day offering funds for heartworm treatment and fostering accommodations if we could speak for Chubbs and take her into our rescue. Thank goodness the team effort was a success! and we now have a very happy, heartworm-free love bug with us here at Cedar Farm. Bonnie, as she was renamed by her foster, is such a joy. She is a very easy dog to care for and is going to be a wonderful companion for some lucky person or family. She is quiet and laid-back, happy to curl up in a dog bed or at your feet. Bonnie is great on leash and enjoys nice walks around the neighborhood. She is very friendly toward new people. She does very well with other dogs but is not a play dog. She just hangs out with the others. She does fine with our cats and should do wonderfully with children as she is very gentle. Bonnie is crate-trained and housebroken and ready to find her forever home. If you would like to meet Bonnie, the first step in our process is the adoption application form. You can complete it on line at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form, call 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to visit with Bonnie and see if she is the one for you! We meet families at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville and are there by appointment only. Bonnie weighs 20 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. She is current on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
