My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet sweet Sophie. She is a darling and spirited young girl aged 4 who loves to play tug o war, fetch and is always on the go. Sadly Sophie's owner died and so we are hoping to place her in a home with someone who is home most of the day and does not have large dogs. Sophie weighs about 16 pounds, is healthy and full of energy. She gets along well with kids, and smaller dogs with a slow introduction, but if on leash will growl and challange large dogs. She loves to go for car rides, walks, and just play. Sophie previously lived with two kids, ages 9 and 10, and is used to playing with kids. But, she is also a door bolter, and so caution is needed in any household to not allow her to escape. She is used to either snuggling in bed with you (preferred) but is also willing to sleep in her own dog bed at the foot of your bed if needed. She is used to a crate for short periods of time and if the door is left open on it she will frequently go in on her own to snooze. Sophie knows how to sit, stay, and dance for a treat!
