Hi there. My name is Dinky. I'm about 10 months old and I weigh about 25 lbs.
I was brought in to the pound from the Lisbon area. You see, my previous owner no longer wanted me for some reason, so she posted me as free to a good home on a buy, and sell page. Well, as you could guess, when she gave me away, that home wasn't a "good home". In fact, they only had me for maybe a day, then they either dumped me or let me go!! Either way, she didn't come to the pound to get me and she wouldn't even respond to a message that was sent to her on facebook by the person who'd found me. She just blocked her so she couldn't even message her back again!! Of course my old owner won't come get me either. She gave me away because she didn't want me. So now I need to find a new home that will actually love me and take care of me and hopefully, this time, my new home will keep me forever!!
I don't know why they didn't want me, honestly! I'm a super nice boy.
I'm very friendly. I get along well with the other dogs. I'm very submissive so I should probably fit in to just about any pack.
I am great with all people. I even do well with children.
I am still young, so therefore, I do have a good bit of energy. I would do best in a home that would be able to give me plenty of exercise.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER NOVEMBER 11, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
