Boysenberry's Story...
Hi! I’m an adorable brown tabby kitten named Boysenberry. My foster mom calls me Boysie for short. I’m a girl kitten about 3 months old. I’m a bit timid but I love my house mate kitty. I do hide some but once my foster mom picks me up and pets me I like to stay in her lap. I’d like to have a Forever Home where there is another cat to be my friend. I will do best in a child-free home with patient kitty parents. I’ve had my shots but still need to be spayed. I’m a little young so it will be a few more weeks before that will happen. If you want to adopt me sooner, contact Silke at palstnrm@gmail.com and she’ll explain to you how that will work.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boysenberry, a San Marcos Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Marcos, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Marcos.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Marcos already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Marcos breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Marcos paves the way for another one to be saved.
