My story

6 y/o male, no apts/condos, needs an experienced adopter, $275 fee

This handsome, loving boy is Diego! He is great with men and women and has done wonderfully with children ages 5 and up. We have not tested him with cats. Diego’s favorite things are nice, long walks, having his people nearby as much as possible and playing with his toys by himself. He can be quite the little goofball, rolling in the grass while singing when he has a yard of his own.

Diego is looking for an experienced adopter to work with him on his resource guarding. Diego should not be around other dogs if there are toys or food in the area, but hope with dedicated, consistent work, this will improve significantly. Diego has been known to guard toys, crates and even people at times.

Diego is potty and crate trained. He can be a very barky Shiba, especially when left home alone, so we will not be looking at any applicants that live in apartments or condos. Diego takes a daily glucosamine supplement which helps with his knees and is otherwise a very healthy boy.

Despite a few challenges, Diego is extremely sweet and lovey and is an excellent companion–we know there is a perfect forever home for him out there somewhere! Diego’s adoption fee is $275 and include his vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, de-worming and 6 week professional training course.
