My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a 7 year old pure bred Alaskan Malamute. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm tested. Max was surrendered with Merlin. They were surrendered to our rescue together through no fault of their own. Their owner fell on hard times and had to make arrangements for his beloved dogs. How heartbreaking for these boys! Max has lived with Merlin for 4 years, he's Merlin's dad, but he does exhibit some resource guarding with other male dogs. He'd probably do just fine with submissive males or female dogs. We'd love for Max and Merlin to stay together but believe they will do just fine separated.

Adopt A Pup Animal Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, all of our pets are in foster homes. To meet one of our animals, you will need to fill out an application. After your application is reviewed, one of our volunteers will contact you to set up a time for you to meet the pet.
