Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
NAME: Daisy
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 3 Months
WEIGHT: About 3.5 Pounds
DOGS/CATS: Great with other small dogs, Gets along with cats
CHILDREN: Will be great in a home with older children (12 and older)
Meet Daisy! Daisy is an adorable Chihuahua puppy with a lot of energy and love to share. She is about 3 months old, and ready for a forever home!
In late October, CRT received a call that a local lady had passed away and left several Chihuahua puppies behind. We were asked if we would be willing to bring the puppies into our program, get them vetted, and find forever homes for them. How could we say no to puppies who needed our help? Daisy is one of these puppies!
Daisy has a tender soul. She is a bit shy when you first meet her, but she is super sweet. Daisy loves everyone, and is a huge snuggler. If you are looking for a lap buddy - Daisy is your girl! Daisy has really enjoyed meeting new people at our adoption events, and although a bit shy, seems to love the attention!
Daisy has a beautiful light golden coat with beautiful amber eyes. She is a tiny 3.5 pounds, but will probably grow another few pounds as she begins to get older. She gets along great with all the dogs in her foster home. Daisy loves to play with them and have a good time. She also loves to play with toys. She likes to go outside and play in the sun. Because of her tiny size, you will want to be out in the yard with her to protect her (there are cases of larger birds such as hawks snatching tiny dogs less than 5 pounds and flying off with them).
We have also discovered that Daisy likes cats. Check out this video of her playing with the cat in her foster home: http://youtu.be/A9_4nljBE9I
By far, Daisy's favorite thing in the world is her humans. She adores her humans and wants to spend as much lap and cuddle time as she can with them. So once she is done playing, she loves to cuddle and to be held. Given a choice between spending time with her humans or her foster dog siblings - she will pick YOU! So if you are looking for a little love bug to watch TV with at night - Daisy wants to volunteer for the job!
Daisy is a petite 3.5 pounds. At only three months, we believe she will grow a little more, but she will most likely be a small dog. Due to her small size, we recommend a home with older children (12 and older) for Daisy.
Daisy is very smart. She has fit in well at her foster home. She is also almost completely potty trained and she also has learned to use pee pee pads. Daisy is also crate trained, and gives you no problem when it is bed time! She is also a quiet little girl. Although she loves to play, she rarely barks.
Daisy is a wonderful little snuggle bug. She has a happy-go-lucky personality that is going to fit perfectly into her forever family. We know that she is going to be so loved in someone's home (and we are betting she will get adopted soon!). If you are looking for a perfect little girl to add to your family - Daisy is a great choice. And if you are interested in two dogs, check out Daisy's brother - Marshall! Their dream would come true if they were adopted together.
Daisy is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
