My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Owner Surrender

Current owner adopted him from a rescue group about 2 years ago. At the time he was emaciated and starving and this has led to ongoing food issues. He is not food aggressive with people but will take food from plates/trash/etc. if you don't keep up with his training.

He also has significant food allergies and required homemade food or specialty food (currently Orijen Six Fish). Because of his allergies vaccinations are not current.

He is being surrendered because he became territorial around the kitchen (again, food issues) and nipped at the owner's baby. They also had an issue with him attacking a small dog that came to their door unannounced on Halloween. As they have small dogs in most of the houses around them they are scared that another incident like this will occur. The family has spent a lot of time training Deuce and will keep working with him until he is able to be rehomed. They are also willing to pay for his food and other care if needed.
