Meet Blossom! Blossom is a happy go lucky girl who is looking for a forever family that will give her all the love and kisses any dog could ever hope for.
Blossom is a fantastic dog! She gets along great with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Even better, Blossom is fantastic with cats and would do great in a home with feline friends. In fact her foster mom says, " Blossom barely acknowledges the cat, and if she does she just watches them walk by. She has never chased them!" Blossom is smart too! She has already learned come, stay, and sit, and learning more and more everyday.
Most importantly, Blossom is a very loyal girl who wants nothing more than to be with people and would love to join you wherever you may go. Blossom is excellent on leash! She goes for daily runs with her foster mom and she stays right beside her without pulling or running ahead. So if you are looking for a running partner, Blossom would love to join you!
Blossom is happy, healthy, and ready to love!

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
