My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gator is a very sweet little girl. She is a pretty Lab mix girl with a white patch on her chest. Gator is about 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. That is 50 lbs. of pure sweetness. Gator found herself in a scary shelter when she was found wandering around all by herself. No one came looking for her and lucky for her, Lucky Lab Rescue was notified of this very awesome and scared little girl in the shelter. She is thriving and bubbles with happiness. Gator loves being with people and likes just hanging out. She is pretty mild mannered although she does like to play with her canine buddies and go for long walks with her person. She does jump up gently to get a hug, which can easily be corrected. But, personally, we enjoy giving her hugs and don't mind it a bit. She is very huggable. We have cat tested her and she gets very excited when she sees a kitty, but is not sure what it is. With initial supervision at first, she would do just fine with the kitties. Gator is very much a favorite with everyone she meets because of her disposition and demeanor. This girl would make a wonderful addition to just about any family situation and be a loyal, loving member of any family. Gator has been spayed, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She has also been kept on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative and is crate trained.
