My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Baxter! Baxter is a young easy-going guy, about 3 years old. He looks to be a mix of a Dachshund, MinPin and perhaps something else? He has the handsome face and long back of a Doxie, but we’re not sure where he gets the long legs! He’s a perfect size, though, at 20 pounds.

Baxter loves it when you pet and talk to him! He will spend all day sitting on your lap, but also loves to get up and play and go for walks.

He’s a social guy who gets along great with other dogs. He loves toys and will gladly share for a fun game of tug-o-war. He also likes cats, but is still learning not to chase them. He doesn’t want to hurt them, he just wants to play.

Housetrained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, Baxter is ready to find his forever family!

This dog’s adoption fee is $225. Adopters must live within 150 miles or 3 hours drive of the Quad City area.
