Stella is a loving, affectionate dog. She loves people and loves to give and get affection. She likes to communicate and "talk" with her people when asked a question and she is very well-behaved.
Stella knows the commands sit, lay down, go to bed, and shake. She loves Cheerios and an occasional piece of bacon or ground beef. She’s not too big into fetching, but will do it if coaxed. And she really loves to snuggle with her people.
She likes to chew on a small plush toys and riding in the car. She likes other dogs and seemed indifferent to the cats that she lived with. Stella is good on the leash. She is house trained and crate trained.
**Stella was housebroken in her prior home but she came into the shelter with a urinary tract infection and began urinating in her crate. In the vet clinic where she spent several days, she did the same but she stopped before moving into her foster home. Unfortunately, that move started the problem again. We believe that Stella is housebroken but between the infection and the confusion of moving, she is having a problem. Stability and medication for the infection will hopefully control this problem.
