My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Maia was just a tiny baby when she was rescued from the streets - she was most likely born out there. She was given to someone who tried to take care of her but couldn't. She spent most of her beginning months in a cage... and this did not help her to learn what life was about. Maia was born in February of 2014 and she is now spayed and up to date with her vaccines. She is a loving girl but can also be shy and doesn't really understand some rules - being in the crucial learning period of her life, she wasn't taught any. We had her with a trainer and she is now being fostered with one of our peeps. She is doing well and we think she will thrive with an experienced Shep person who understands what she needs. She likes other dogs but again doesn't understand it's not polite to jump all over them to play lol. Maia needs manners, structure, things to keep her busy and a real leader. She will be a loyal friend we just know it. She really is sweet and on the small side at about 30 lbs!! Please email us at info@tufftails.org for all information thank you!
