Xena is an almost 2 year old social butterfly.
She is deaf, but does not let it slow her down or stop her from being a love bug.
She loves all people and so far has not met another dog she does not want to play or romp around with. She is not afraid of men or woman.
While Xena has been around and have been good with small child, I would recommend Xena being in a home with older children and no cats. She thinks cats are toys and finds them very entertaining to chase.
Xena acts like a puppy and will need a family that will be patient with her training needs and her disability (which she does not see it that way.)
Xena does get anxious when she is left alone but is slowly learning that she can trust you will come back.
Xena is currently learning American Sign Language as part of her training and will come with a list of hands signs she is used to.
This sweet girl just needs a family that will shower her with love and give her the love and guidance she needs to be a well balanced great dane.
If you are interested in Xena, please contact the Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue (FFGDR).
