Sunny's Story...
EST DOB: 4/5/14

Sunny and his sister Ginger were abandoned by there momma when they were just a few days old. We are not sure if she was injured or just "lost" these 2 babies but when the good samaritan found them they sure were hungry. After a few bottles and a few car rides they found themselfves in the loving hands of our Rescue Ranger Sarah. She has taken the best care of them and actually become quite attached. So, Sunny and Ginger are healthy, happy, SUPER social kittens that have no fear and love everyone they meet.

Sunny gives great kisses and loves to be held. He is very fast and enjoys a good race around the living room. He is bonded with his sister and we would love to see them adopted together but he is also very confident. Sunny could be adopted by himself and do just fine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Flower Mound Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Flower Mound, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Flower Mound.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flower Mound already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flower Mound breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flower Mound paves the way for another one to be saved.
