Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howdy, my name is Wynter, but my foster moms call me Winnie. I am a two year old spayed female who weighs in at about 70 lbs. I am a special kind of girl who will need someone who can give me unconditional love and time. I may not seem like the most outgoing gal upon meeting but if you give me the time and respect, I promise to show you love like you’ve never known before!
I have no issues with other dogs, really I just do my own thing until I’m ready to start playing with them. I live with my best friend and I would call him little brother, Oaks. If it weren’t for him showing me the ropes on this dog thing, I wouldn’t be where I am today. He can be obnoxious at times, crawling on my back, pulling on my ears and tail, but he knows how to make me give in and play with him every time! Most people would think I was hurting him by the way I talk and roll with him, but really I’m just a gentle giant and he’s the one who beats me up! Did I mention he’s just a little chi-weenie? I also know how to run with the big dogs, when I want to jump in circles and leap through the air, I play with my foster sister, “Lady,” she’s a pitbull! I really like to use voice then! But I’m just expressing all the fun I am having.
My foster moms say I am very emotionally in tune with people and know how to put a smile on most anyone’s face. I am house trained and crate trained, though really, once I find my “niche” I tend to hangout there while my moms are away or I just want some “me” time. I have been through a rougher life, some may say, so I may get overwhelmed at times and go run to my “niche” for some peace and quiet. I love children, they’re a perfect height for my sweet gentle kisses. Oh, did I mention I LOVE kisses, I even sneak up on people just to kiss them, I really love kisses! I am very well leash trained and I know the commands, “sit” “down” “wait” (well for the most part, my foster moms say I jump the gun sometimes when my excitement gets the best of me, but we’re working on it, give a girl a break) and when I’m really feeling talented, I even know “shake”.
Though I have had a rougher start to life, I am learning to put my past behind me and move forward as a real German Shepherd. I am so eager to learn and as my moms say, I am ever so loyal. If you are will to give me the love and patience I need and deserve, I would be grateful to meet you!
