Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Born in approximately August 2013, Lewis is a black lab that is a little bit shy, but he is a total lover once he feels secure!
Lewis would do best in a home with well adjusted dogs he can play with and show him the ropes. He is curious about cats, but not pushy. Lewis was pulled from an animal shelter where he had been adopted as a puppy but returned about 6 months later. He came back very shy and fearful of new situations. He takes a little bit to warm up when first meeting new people but once he does he will be a friend for life. Lewis has had little interaction with children since being in our program and we would suggest a home with children over 10 who can be calm and give him time to trust and love.
Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this dog will come to you from a foster home that has provided loving one-on-one attention, socialization and some basic training, as well as quality food and exercise.
