My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm a 3-year-old neutered male Italian Greyhound mix. I weigh about 12 pounds. I'm a super outgoing, friendly & happy guy. My tail never stops wagging & I have lots of love to share with all my human & canine pals! I'm also good with cats, and I'm potty trained.
It's amazing how great my attitude is, considering the rough past I've had. I'll tell you a little bit about my background. At some point in my life, I was seriously injured. Nobody knows exactly what happened to me, but my pelvis & elbow were both broken & I sustained nerve damage to my rear left leg. Sadly, when all of this occurred, whoever was in charge of taking care of me at the time did nothing at all to help me. So I was left to heal on my own, without any veterinary care. It's honestly amazing that I even survived all of this trauma! And it's even more amazing that I healed well enough to walk around pretty well by myself. Then, after all of this drama, I somehow ended up at the pound. As you can imagine, my life was in grave danger due to my injuries...dogs who are injured don't have much of a chance of getting adopted at the pound. But I am clearly one lucky fellow because CageFree rescued me before my time was up! Right after saving me from the pound, CageFree took me to see an orthopedic surgeon who said that, at this point, there's no surgery that will make me better & it would be best to just leave well enough alone. The nerve damage in my leg does cause me to have an obvious deficit when I walk or run around, but I get around just fine nonetheless! I actually LOVE to run & play & I'm a fairly active guy, all things considered. I don't let anything hold me back! I'm spunky & fun-loving & I can't wait to find a family to finally take care of me the way I always deserved to be cared for. If you think you could open your home & your heart to me, please contact CageFree right away & tell them you'd like to meet me. I can tell you right now that I cannot wait to meet you!
