Jerry Lee-Adopted!'s Story...
Jerry Lee was spotted roaming loose a couple months ago and rescued by his foster mom. She says he is a big lovable goofball with an active and curious mind. He has a lot of energy and loves outdoor activities and going on walks. Female or submissive dogs medium to large size would be the best fit for him or he would be fine as an only dog. He lives with other dogs currently and a teenager. Jerry is strong and requires an experienced handler. A home with a fenced yard is required for his safety. Birth date 8/11/11

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry Lee-Adopted!, a Detroit German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Detroit, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
