Edy's Story...
Hi my name is Edy. My siblings and I were drop off at the shelter when our new foster mom came in and said she would take us home. I'm so excited about getting my own family. I really want to learn how to play fetch, take long walks,(You Might Have to Carry Me For A Little While), and watch t.v. with my new family. We will have so much fun together, if you will make me your very own puppy. I will be ready to come on Nov 28th to my new family. I will be fixed, have three of my puppy shots, kennel cough shot. So won't you please apply for me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Edy, a Washington Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Washington, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
