Diesel's Story...
Drive on down to Friendship for Diesel. He's a 4 year old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Poor Diesel was adopted a few months ago and recently returned because the other dogs in the family did not like him. Diesel is dog friendly but being there first, the other dogs didn't accept him. This boy is fine with kids over 6 years of age but does not like cats. Diesel is house trained and has manners in the house. He's a really nice dog and deserves a home where all love him. Please don't overlook Diesel.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel, a Elyria German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler for sale in Elyria, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Elyria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elyria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elyria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elyria paves the way for another one to be saved.
