My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 11/9/2013 and admitted to ELPO on 11/9/2014.
She was surrendered to us by a mom and little girl who became homeless and couldn't care for Princess. She came in with sarcoptic mange, nearly having no fur, with her skin bright red and bloody (from itching so much) in places. (see before photo) After being in isolation for about 6 weeks she looks amazing and can finally go out with the other dogs and volunteers! There are still patches where fur needs to grow but she is on fish oil supplements and d/d skin food which are really helping. Princess loves people and playing with tennis balls. She's a border collie mix, about 1 year old, 42lbs, heartworm negative and already spayed.
Is Princess good with other dogs? She had some problems the first few days out of isolation (about
a week ago), but is making very rapid improvement in play pairs.
Walks well on a leash? Very
Behavioral or anxiety problems? No
Does she know basic commands? Sit, down.
How does she react in crowds or at a meet & greet? Good
What more can be said of Princess? She loves attention and activity. Plays a great game of fetch, would play all day. Very affectionate, a real sweetie.
