Ryder's Story...
Ryder is a 6 year old orange tabby that has an incredibly affectionate and sweet personality. This big boy has a huge heart and loves to follow people around the house. Ryder is wonderfully friendly and will welcome any new people he meets with purrs and head cuddles. Ryder is a smart boy who comes when you call him or shake a jar of treats. He loves to sit right next to people and even loves to cuddle at bedtime. Ryder's favorite things are belly rubs, blankets, and being around people. This special kitty truly is a one in a million love bug that would do best in a home without other cats or dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ryder, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
