Hi there. My name is Buddy. I'm 5 years old and I weigh about 70 lbs.
I had to be surrendered to the pound after my daddy passed away unexpectedly. I am very sad and I really miss him but I'm hoping to find a loving home soon.
I'm anxious here at the pound. I just can't figure out why I'm here and not in a home. I'm used to being with my daddy all the time, but now I sit in a kennel alone just waiting. Day by day I grow more and more sad. I never let it show when we have visitors, but the girls here can see it in my eyes, especially when visitors leave. I get so excited when people come to visit me, but very sad when they walk back out and they don't take me with them.
I'm a good boy when I'm inside the office. I love all people and I get along well with all of the other dogs I have met here at the pound so far.
I seem to possibly be housebroken. I don't have accidents when I'm in my kennel or when I'm in the office.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER NOVEMBER 1, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
