Patches (Patsy)'s Story...
Meet Patches, she is all heart and soul. she was adopted out 4 yrs ago and returned. They said she jumped up onto her owner, she has not once jumped onto anyone, She loves other dogs and cats. She is house broke and crate trained. She goes in car with my other cattle dog like they have been friends for yrs. She was good at the vet even though she was nervous to be there. She loves children.
I cant say enough good things about her. this is a dog that should of never been giving up. I just love her. Patches is 6 yrs old and is looking for someone to give her kisses so she can kiss them back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches (Patsy), a Texico Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Texico, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Texico.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Texico already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Texico breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Texico paves the way for another one to be saved.
