Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mya is a 20 month old Havanese mix. She weighs 11 lbs. We do not recommend children for Mya at the moment because she is fearful and startles easily. She will come to her person for affection and praise but she needs her space and may hide or “den” to settle herself. She does not pull on the leash and rarely barks. She is afraid of stairs. Mya is sleeping a lot but she is new to foster and may settle down and become more active as times goes on. She needs to gain weight and confidence but she responds to praise so we believe she can learn through positive reinforcement. She would love to have another dog in the house as she has quickly bonded with another dog in her foster home. She knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, let's go. We can tell that at heart she is really a loving, affectionate little girl who has been through some tremendous trauma and is struggling to deal with it. She is improving daily. Mya needs a patient, owner who will allow her her space and gain her trust.
