Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Huck Finn:)) Previously known as Leeco.
Huck is a great fellow. He came to us with a jaw that was broken in 2 spots and a fractured displaced femur. He has seen Dr Bookbinder, an orthopedic surgeon twice. His jaw has healed well on it's own. Sadly his leg was a displaced fracture that is not surgically correctable. However the good news is he has healed well inspite of this and is using the leg quite well now. He has stabilized and Dr Bookbinder said he will not need his leg amputated. he should be a 4 legged dog for the next 15 years:)) GREAT news.
Huck is a small hound mix. He has gained 16 pounds and now is at a great weight of 44 pounds. He is ready for adoption.
Huck is a very loving, cuddly, affectionate dog. He does tend to guard his person from other dogs but is verbally responsive when told no. He would thrive as an only dog where he could be showered with love and affection and be the center of someones universe. He does enjoy the other dogs and could be a great friend in the right household.
He is potty trained, crate trained and leash trained. Pretty perfect if I do say so myself!!
