Rambo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rambo's Story...
Meet Rambo! He's an 8 year old lab / shepherd mix in search of a forever home to call his own. He was surrendered to the shelter by his owners, who recently became homeless and had no way to care for their dogs. Rambo didn't come alone though, his sister Penny is here too. Penny is a 6 year old wirehair pointer mix. Rambo and Penny are a bonded pair and need to find a forever home where they can continue to be together.

Rambo is up to date on shots, neutered, and has a microchip. He's also housebroken and rides well in the car. Rambo would do well in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids. What more could you ask for? Now all he needs is someone to come adopt him....could that someone be YOU?!?

The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rambo, a Youngwood Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
