Daniel's Story...
Daniel is a super cute 11 week old Poodle/Maltese puppy. This little guy likes to snuggle in your arms or just be close to you. For such a young puppy, he is very calm. He is a very happy puppy and enjoys playing with toys and other small dogs. Daniel quickly learned his name and comes when he is called. His foster mom rates Daniel as one of the sweetest, easy to care for puppies. He seems to be a quick learner as he is making good progress with house training.

Daniel was recently neutered, has a microchip and his shots are current. Now all Daniel needs is an adoptive family. If you would like to adopt Daniel, please go to our website and submit an online adoption application www.malteserescuecalifornia.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daniel, a Covina Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese for sale in Covina, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese puppy from a breeder in Covina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covina paves the way for another one to be saved.
