Mimi's Story...
Here is Mimi and her litter mates story: We are listing as a courtesy. " I get my eggs from a farmer who lives about three miles from me on land he has rented for over 25 years. He has 7 kittens who are all 6 months old and SUPER FRIENDLY who are living outside in this weather. They are being fed and they are not feral as I’ve met them several times and are super friendly and come right up to you but they LIVE OUTSIDE 24/7. He informed me he and his wife have to move in 2 weeks and he wants to get RID of all his kittens. He offered them all to me FREE and I think is telling anyone who gets eggs from him the same. He has had NO LUCK getting RID of them yet. I’m really nervous about where these kittens will end up if not just left there after he moves. Does anyone on your contact list might be willing to foster or take them into their shelter. My number is 314 713-2094 or my email is Thanks for whatever help you might be able to do !!! "

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi, a Montgomery City Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Montgomery City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Montgomery City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Montgomery City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Montgomery City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Montgomery City paves the way for another one to be saved.
