Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Isabella is a six month old female puppy weighing approximately 28 pounds. It is expected that she will be somewhere around 40 lbs full grown. She has a black/white semi-rough to rough coat, and an activity level fit for an active companion or sports competitor.
Isabella came to BCRR from the shelter in Oklahoma City where she was picked up as a stray wandering in a field. She came to us well fed and loving everyone and everything, so we can only guess that she somehow escaped a home and no one came to look for her.
Isabella is quite a social butterfly and would do well in a home with a canine sibling. She may have potential in dog sports. She loves herding her BC foster sister and already enjoys a good game of fetch with the ball. Isabella needs to be kept busy and this can include playtime with her new family but also learning time, as she is a little sponge that just absorbs any training you want to work on. She knows her “sit”, “sit stay”, and lie “down”, “down stay” also knows “kennel up”. We are working on “leave it”. Here is a short video of Isabella:http://www.magisto.com/video/KlUTJAlURmk3WkZgCzE?c=e&l=mmr1&o=i
Isabella is 95% housetrained, but will still have the occasional accident, usually close to the back door. She sleeps through the night in her crate. She is frightened of thunderstorms, and likes to hide in the closet if a storm comes. This gem of a pup is being fostered in the DFW area, but can travel to her forever home. She is current on all vaccinations, micro chipped and on heartworm preventative. If you have any questions you can contact her foster mom shelsteb12@aol.com.
