From Lee Foster Rescue, Virginia

Hello Lily!
Beautiful Lily is here. She is under evaluation. She is such a sweet girl, she was born in December of 2011. Much to our surprise, Lily is a very little girl, our guess is 60 lbs. She does need to gain some weight. She had such a long drive and was so loving when she was taken out of her crate. She was full of kisses, very laid back, prancing around sniffing the grass and looking around. She gets along great with other dogs. We decided to leave her out of the crate for the next haul to her foster. She was staring out the windows and never made a noise. Lily is spayed, up to date on shots, and micro chipped. She could go to a home with children 10 years and older. She would do well having another dog to play with. We do not know about cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Churchville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Churchville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Churchville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Churchville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Churchville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Churchville paves the way for another one to be saved.
