Butterscotch's Story...
Butterscotch is a sweet 15 week old female puppy. She is young and playful. Butterscotch loves other dogs and would do best in a home with a companion dog. She is a little shy and would greatly benefit from obedience class or daily walks. Butterscotch loves to play with toys and has learned to sit for a treat. She is crate trained and working on potty training.

Butterscotch is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, dewormed and treated with heartworm and flea preventative. Her adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butterscotch, a Flushing Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
