Hercules is a male Yorkshire Terrier mix approximately 2 years in age. He is teeny tiny and totally adorable, weighing in at only 6 pounds full grown. Hercules is quite simply the cutest little boy ever. He has a beautiful chocolate brown coat that is generously dusted with silver and the sweetest little pink brown nose. His big bright eyes are a clear sea green and when he looks at you, you just melt. Hercules is affectionate, kind and gentle. He definitely prefers a gentle touch and wants to be kept safe. He is a professional snuggler and loves to cuddle up close. Hercules adores all things soft and warm, including cozy dog beds well stocked with thick blankets. He lives to be pampered and although he will walk on leash, of course he prefers to be carried. Hercules is excellent inside the home, quiet, mellow and well behaved. He welcomes company easily and once he's comfortable he is a perky little prince. He is not recommended for children due to his very tiny size, although he is as gentle and sweet as they come. Hercules was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. He is going to make a unique, lovely, adorable pet and companion. Hercules is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!

Hercules’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Hercules is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis and Richard and is ready for his forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Hercules at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HERCULES, a Newport Beach Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
