Chloe's Story...
Hi, I'm Chloe! I'm a little bit shy when I first meet you but I warm up fast and then I'm a HUGE lovebug. Snuggles on the couch? Yes, please! Snuggles in bed at night? Even better! You want to scratch me and rub my belly? I'll lie there for as long as you'll do it! I know how to sit and I'm working on not jumping up on people when I see them. I just want to give hugs! I know I might look like a big girl but I'm only about 50 lbs and I'm VERY gentle. I'll sit very politely before I get food or treats, and I calmly take treats without lunging for them. Bones are my favorite dog toy. Do you have a spot in your house where I could chew on one? I prefer not to share my house with a cat. Email info@forrescue.net about me!

I come spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.

I am currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but I'm not picky about where I end up as long as I am loved!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Huntsville Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
