Dozer's Story...
Hi there! My name is Dozer! That’s short for “Bulldozer”! My name is sort of a joke. “Dozers” are big but when I was born I was so small that my foster mom named me “Dozer” in hopes I would grow into it! My foster mom has had me since I was 12 hours old! Someone she knows trapped my feral mom and she gave birth to me right in the trap. We were both lucky because then we were protected and cared for. I was born May 26, 2014. So I have grown up in my foster mom’s house with 2 big dogs running around and lots of other kittens and cats. I get along with everyone! My foster mom says I have the sweetest face with the personality to match!

My foster mom says I am one of the most affectionate kittens she has ever had probably because she has loved and handled me right from the start. I love being with her all the time and I follow her around the house hoping she will give me some attention! I watch for her to sit down so I can jump into her lap! I love being petted. I love being held. I purr all the time!

Dozer is neutered, litterbox trained, is up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Dozer is also already microchipped!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dozer, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
