My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mustang is another friendly, playful pup that will fit into just about any family situation as long as they are dedicated to continuing his training and socialization. He loves everyone and is affectionate with people of all ages. He loves to play with other dogs and would be great as a second dog in the home. Mustang is approximately 1 1/2 years old and currently weighs 53 lbs.

Here is what Mustang's foster family had to say:

Mustang is a very friendly and affectionate dog and is very much Boxer in nature. He is bouncy and playful and full of beans at times but then crashes for a good nap. He loves playing with other dogs and is curious and interested in whatever is going on. He was great with children that came to visit and was fine in living in an apartment as long as he gets enough exercise.

Mustang is fully house trained and knows to do his business outside but does need to be crated when he is not being supervised as he will get into things he shouldn't. He is learning his basic commands and now learning sit, stay, cage, lay down. He is nearly leashed trained and is very clean and quiet in the home.

Mustang would be a great candidate for obedience school as he is very attentive and eager to please. He learns quickly with positive reinforcement and lots of cuddles and praise.

Mustang would do very well in a family where he gets lots of attention with older children that would enjoy playing with him. He would do well as a second dog or as the only dog in the home as long as he had play dates. We are not sure how he would do with cats but at this point he would probably want to play with them and may be too rough.

If you think Mustang would be a good choice for your situation, please submit an application for consideration.
