My name is Elliot and if you hang on to my leash I’ll take you for the ride of a lifetime. You won’t need a treadmill if you adopt me. I’m a busy adolescent pup who likes a lot of action. I love people and I especially enjoy using them as a springboard, that’s how I show my affection. I’d love to be a running, hiking, or roller-blade partner. Volunteers are working on my manners but I am definitely a candidate for obedience training. I might have some Schnauzer in my mix and I am certain that any other breeds in my mix are intelligent, athletic and agile. So if you are looking for a buddy to sit by the fireside with you, that wouldn’t be me! You won’t get a friendlier dog and you’ll never find one with my zest for life. I get along with other dogs but I need some practice on reading their signals – some don’t appreciate my nonstop play ethic. At one-year-old, I need a home where I am not alone all day. I would be better in a home with older kids since I’m still learning to keep all four paws on the ground. You’ll have a whole lotta years to pet these beautiful silken ears of mine!
