Boots's Story...
Name: Boots
Color: Black and White
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Gender: Male
Age: 2 Months
Boots is a snuggly boy looking for his loving forever home. Cats can live to be 15-20 years old so he is really looking for someone who is in it for the long haul.
Big fan of: He is a sweet, cuddly kitten with a huge purr that he will bring out when he is happy or scared. He loves to run around the house and goof around. Boots is shy in new situations and will take a while to warm up to new people. Once he knows he is safe, he is a wonderfully affectionate boy.
Dream Home: Boots liked the other cats in his foster home and would love to either go home with one of his siblings or to a home with a resident cat who will show him the ropes. He also loved the dogs in his foster home and will do well with a cat-savvy dog that knows better than to chase him. Since he is a little shy, he'd do best in a home with older children or adults only who will be patient with him while he is gaining his confidence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boots, a Bellingham Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
