My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ANNE is a 7 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 78 pounds. Anne is a very sweet and friendly girl. She loves for you to pet her and give her love and attention. Anne is a fairly quiet and curious girl. She likes to walk around the yard and explore. She may do best with an Easy Walk harness to help limit the pulling on leash. She is good with other dogs. Anne is good with kids and is approved for kids 10 and up. I doubt she was ever given a treat as she didn't seem to know what to do with it. She was shy when I first met her but quickly warmed up to me and had no issues with me touching her all over. Anne is great in the car- she didn't make a sound the entire way to the vet. Anne was a breeder dog and they couldn't use her anymore. She is approved for kids 10+

Update (11/30): Anne is settling in! She and my Lab are becoming fast friends and enjoyed a great game of tug. She slept sometimes in bed last night and then in the dog bed for the remainder, and we are working on walking on a leash with a harness. Many things are very new to her, the sounds, the sights, the smells, so we're slowly introducing her to new situations. You can tell she is curious about everything. She just wants love and kisses and to be petted and she knows basic commands.

Update (11/21): Anne is adjusting to her new home and seems to be settling down as the days go by. She slept through the night in her crate. She is behaving like a housetrained dog. When she met the resident male dog she let him know that she wasn't interested in his advances, and they've been getting along great. She enjoys being in the backyard and sleeping beside my desk. She is quite affectionate giving lots of kisses and wanting to get in my lap. So far, a delightful girl.
