Magic's Story...
Hello Miss Magic here! I am all healed up and ready for my new forever home! I sure have been through a lot but the wonderful folks and supporters of Forgotten Dogs scooped me up and turned my life around. I was spotted in a park with a horribly injured front leg and my bone was exposed...I was very sick and skinny but I was found just in time to save my life!!! Whew that was close!! I lost my front leg to the infection but I did not lose my spirit or my love of life and humans. I love attention and so far in my foster home I am good with the other dogs and I even seem to like the kitty cats. I am a sweet girl who really just wants a family to love me as their very own for now and for always...if you are interested in adopting me please email my foster mom at cameobua@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application at www.forgottendogs.org and say you want to adopt MAGIC! We all need a little Magic in our lives right?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magic, a Houston Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
